🎉 a new year 2025 🎉

Hi friends, hope you're well!

Happy 2025 😄

Last October I quit my job because I needed a break from working full-time. I also needed to finish my studies and figure out what I was doing with my life, since I felt unhappy with my (lack of) career and general direction. I spent the last few months of 2024 resting, "spring-cleaning" my art businesses, and making plans for the new year, unsure what it would bring.

Now that's it 2025, can you believe that January's already come and gone? It really feels like it passed by in a second!

I know I'm very fortunate to say that last month treated me well. If you've been following my journey so far, (and you're probably sick of me talking about it), you'll know that I was recently able to fulfill one of my small business goals of selling at a market!

Kaiga convention held a twilight artist alley on the 24th - 25th of January, featuring over 400 artists (including me)! I'm so happy to have made my market debut amongst such a welcoming and kind community. The market went very well, exceeding my expectations, and I'm excited to announce that I already have two more art markets confirmed for this year. I've added a little "upcoming events" section on the home page if you'd like to take a look. 🌻

Apart from starting my market journey this year, I have big plans and ideas bubbling around in my head for The Honey Mustard Club! 🍯 New products, new art and new stories are already starting to come to the surface..

I'm also going to be doing my best to be more active on social media, mainly Instagram and YouTube. We recently reached 1000 followers on Instagram which is a very big milestone for me! I'm so grateful to be able to share my art and business journey with such wonderful people. 🥰

I've already started the process of experimenting with a new medium for making art this year. Fingers crossed I can bring some handmade products to my shops soon. 👀 It's been a lot of fun so far trying something new and flexing my creative muscles again.. but I definitely need a lot of practice before I can make something I'm happy with😁

I'd also like to let you know that I recently added a few new items to the shop! I created some products based around a "Lily of the Valley" artwork I made late last year. I've also just introduced wooden pins and sticker sheets to my store! Yippee! 🪻🫶🏼

This year has already brought such wonderful things for my art and business journey, I'm excited to see what opportunies and learning moments the rest of 2025 will bring!

Stay magical~

Deborah ✨
