On the last day I was in Victoria, I visited the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens.
Earlier in the day we were able to visit a few other places, but to end our relaxing getaway we decided to visit this beautiful garden.
The Autumn weather was both a curse and a blessing. It was cold and raining most of the time we were there – but that meant that we had the entire place (mostly) to ourselves. There were only two other small groups we ran into the entire time, making it perfect to capture some photos! Neither of us was afraid of a little rain.
Despite the wet weather, the gardens were filled with beautiful vibrant hues. It really was the manifestation of Autumn.
The scenery was breathtaking, like something right out of a fairytale. As I looked around, I could imagine living amongst the leafy canopies in a small cabin somewhere in the countryside. I also imagined this was a popular spot for pre-wedding photos.
I wish we could’ve spent a little more time here, but we were both quite tired and wet and had a plane to catch!
