I honestly love the whole American diner aesthetic. Maybe it’s because I live in Australia and it’s not so common here (bar Hungry Jacks), but I appreciate the black and white checkered floors contrasted with bright red booths, decorated walls and neon lights.
I was pretty ecstatic when I found out about Doughbox Diner. Situated in Enmore, it is a decked out 50’s styled diner with an awesome atmosphere and menu full of greasy burgers and delectable milkshakes.
My best friend Marsha and I first ate there last September, and have been there once more since. Both times have been satisfying and I can’t wait to go back again soon for a feed and some snaps (especially since I have a another lens now and I’d like to think my skills have hopefully improved?) – maybe to their other location in Brighton Le Sands which I have yet to eat at!
Below are pics from our first visit 🙂
